Università Politecnica delle Marche

The Measurement Group of the Department of Mechanics of the University of Ancona (I) has been created about fifteen years ago by Prof. Enrico P. Tomasini and has acquired a well-established reputation in many research fields regarding Mechanical Measurement techniques, with positions of excellence in vibration and fluid velocity measurement by laser techniques.
He is founding member and President of the Italian Association of Laser Velocimetry (AIVELA), a non-profit cultural association with scientific character, which promotes studies and use of laser instrumentation for motion measurement, both of solid bodies and of fluids.

Technische Universität Ilmenau (TU Ilmenau)

Created in 1992, the Technical University of Ilmenau is one of the youngest universities in Germany. However, engineering education enjoys a long and rich tradition in Ilmenau.
